Recently purchased service with time warner and informed them that I have my own modem*router. They contacted us to gather some pertinent information about this modem*router and informed us that it was not on their approved list. Approved list you say, yes they have a list of approved modem*routers that they only allow with their internet service! I am all too curious to know what their affiliation is with these brands of modems*routers?! I think there should be legal action taken against Time Warner or at least an investigation as to how they conduct business.
