He informed me that upon using a Rebate Card for any credit purchase - such as at a restaurant - you must "first" pay a portion with your own monies, and then for the remaining balance, you give them your Rebate Card and it will then work for "a portion" of the Rebate Card - not the entire amount. Please verify this for me.* *Staples has not made it easy in any way to utilize these Visa Rebate Cards by not allowing you to use the card for its full rebate amount.
